This is my second which I have had now 5 years after the first one started losing the non stick ( my fault using steel ) after over 12 years of use several times a week. Still worked great and gave to sister These are fantastic and bullet proof . I have CRC 800 which are much larger but never needed the size

When cooking even the minimum amount of rice it would boil over, spewing starchy rice water all over the unit and onto my kitchen counter. I had this rice cooker for about 7 years and we eat rice everyday. It eventually went by it had been used and abused. I would recond it as it took a lot of abuse in my home.
